JOB SUMMARY: The Baltimore Orioles are seeking a full-time Pitching Coach for the 2023 Major League Baseball Championship season. This position will serve as a uniformed coach with the responsibility of executing the organization’s pitching philosophy and individual player plans in The Dominican Summer League, located in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic.


Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:

  • Design and execute daily pitching practice plans

  • Collaborate with pitching coordinator to design and execute individual player plans

  • Collaborate with medical staff and strength coaches to identify and correct movement deficiencies

  • Utilize analytical tools and data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and development opportunities

  • Assist manager, developmental, fundamental and hitting coach in daily on-field practice

  • Will work out of Twin Lakes Park in Sarasota, FL during spring training

  • Will work out of the Dominican Academy and travel with the team during DSL Spring Training and for all games during the season



  • Exceptional organization and communication skills

  • Appreciation for the use of data and information from technologies such as Trackman, Rapsodo, and Edgertronic Cameras

  • Appreciation for functional movement and biomechanical development

  • Intrinsically motivated, reliable, and a growth mindset

  • Spanish fluency


  • Former collegiate or professional playing experience

  • Technical Degree
