Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for leading the planning and execution of key procurement strategies across all organization-wide spend
Drive strategic sourcing and optimization activities with all functional stakeholders. Categories include but are not limited to IT, Corporate Partnerships, Legal, Stadium Operations, Facilities, and Professional Services
Build and implement sourcing strategic vision to enhance key company goals and results
Pursue Total Value of Ownership TVO (TVO = savings, cost avoidance, value-added, revenue, efficiencies, enhanced relationships) as it relates to our organization by enhancing the overall effectiveness of the supply management process:
Ensure effective use of spend / budgets within the key areas of responsibility and continue to drive savings, value and further efficiencies.
Lead in the ongoing development of the company-wide procurement processes and partner with all levels of leadership cross-functionally to build impactful, efficient and cost-effective vendor relationships.
Lead development and implementation of infrastructure and polices to improve team efficiencies to be repeatable, measurable, and accurate with cadence
Standardize (as appropriate) procurement practices of products used or services procured company-wide.
Develop, communicate, and enforce all supplier risk management standards. Report activities and compliance issues daily.
Enhance Corporate Partner/Supplier relationships while managing supplier’s cost, quality, risk compliance, and service performance.
Core activities
Liaise with finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting.
Draft/ edit/ review major contracts for all lines of business that impact any provision of goods or services.
Create and lead RFP processes and negotiations for all major purchases of goods and services.
Lead/ manage negotiations and strategic communications with suppliers/vendors throughout the company
Develop detailed metrics and track all relevant data to show realized TVO
Prepare annual strategic sourcing plan that summarizes how the procurement organization intends to accomplish needs and TVO goals.
Track projected and report achieved TVO financial impact
Develop, implement, and manage supplier database; lead aggregation and management of all vendor contracts across the organization
Lead major supplier and contractor Service Level Agreement (SLA) governance and engagement activities; continuously evaluate on-site SOW operational performance and communicate with stakeholders throughout term of contract.
Provide procurement consultation for major investments, acquisitions, and JVs at request of senior leadership.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business required (or equivalent)
Minimum 7 years of relevant Procurement/ Strategic Sourcing experience
Proven ability to develop and lead complex strategic sourcing strategies and initiatives
Experience managing indirect procurement at a corporate level
Experience with common ERP systems
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
