The Falcons are seeking a highly organized and innovative video production manager to lead the live and live-to-tape production efforts in the new Ticketmaster Studios at the Atlanta Falcons Facility. The Studio Production Manager will oversee and conduct productions produced within the broadcast studio and its control room environment: live and live-to-tape shows and segments, interviews with players & talent, podcasts, game film reviews, press conferences, and more.

This position will be a key part of the new studio in its first year of production, helping to manage the rising needs of content for the Atlanta Falcons and its partners. This person should be an expert in video production and be able to manage a team of video production professionals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute live and live-to-tape productions in Ticketmaster Studios at the Atlanta Falcons facility.

  • Manage the studio production operations of the Falcons Digital team.

  • Oversee the scheduling of the spaces within Ticketmaster Studios alongside the Director of Video Production amongst the different production needs of the photo and video teams – and external parties, such as our broadcast partners, national media partners, and corporate sponsors.

  • Hire and coordinate freelance staff as needed for productions.

  • Communicate effectively with talent.

  • Create show rundowns for productions.

  • Maintain and upkeep all studio-based camera and control room equipment.

  • Contribute compelling content ideas for studio productions to go on Falcons digital mediums.

  • Keep video assets organized and named by logging and archival.

  • Set lighting designs for interviews and segments in different environments.

  • Utilize post-production to finish and master studio productions to a final product.

  • Perform production tasks in a control room where needed: direct live-to-tape show productions, technical direct on a Ross switcher, operate graphics, teleprompter, clip player, audio mixers.

Qualifications and Education

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in video production. Experience in sports production and broadcasting is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Required

  • Ability to communicate effectively and promptly.

  • Proficient in a control room infrastructure (Ross Carbonite, XPression, Tria, Piero).

  • Understanding of post-production techniques utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

  • Ability to manage projects on short timelines.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
