AMB Sports + Entertainment seeks a dynamic communications professional to support internal communications and employer branding across the portfolio of businesses. We’re looking for a collaborative team player who is ready to roll up their sleeves, color outside the lines and test out new ideas. Reporting to the senior director of internal communications, employer brand and engagement, the candidate will assist with crafting internal communications and implementing engagement experiences to help ensure consistent, effective communications, leading to transparency throughout the organization. The role will also support the development of the BFOB employer brand and promote the BFOB as an employer to prospective associates as well as strengthen internal brand ambassadors/advocates. This role will be instrumental in helping to position our organization as an Employer of Choice by setting campaigns and initiatives to strengthen the overall awareness of the BFOB, share who we are, and where we are going.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and deliver impactful communications and stories for associates
Help execute parts of strategic communications plans and individual campaigns
Support the content creation (written and visual) of internal communications and help manage channels, including newsletters, emails, intranet, digital signage, etc.
Write and edit communications (articles, stories, and social media content)
Support the planning and execution of major internal events such as town halls
Maintain editorial calendars
Develop objectives, track metrics, and gather insights on communication and channel effectiveness
Partner with communication and talent acquisition team members to support solutions for employer branding challenges and ensure digital channels internally and externally are competitive and enticing
Help ensure cohesive brand content, voice, and design in communications and uniform messaging
Help drive employer branding communications that embed culture and strengthen employee satisfaction and advocacy
Manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning, and coordination across multiple teams.
Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field and/or at least 3 years of related experience within a corporate communications structure
Excellent composition, writing, and editing skills with knowledge of grammar, punctuation and business writing style guidelines all with the ability to convey clear messaging
Past experience creating presentations and graphics, town hall meetings or events, videos and other effective internal communications pieces that inform and engage internal audiences
Proficient in social media/digital industry trends in order to help develop and maintain employer brand presence on company channels
Ability to collect, analyze, and use social data to affect change and determine ROI
Proficiency in use of common software programs (i.e. Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing solutions)
Natural relationship builder with the ability to work cross-functionally
Basic video production (preferred)
