The Logistics Specialist is responsible for receiving and inspecting delivered products to ensure the accuracy of orders with great attention to detail. This position requires the employee to lift and move heavy items. This position must report shortages and damages that occurred during shipment to their manager or directly to the shipping agent. They may also be required to enter data into inventory systems and put away stock. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the safe transportation of items to and from warehouse storage.

Provide Department Overview: Event Operations Department which supports the operational aspects of all events at Truist Park on a year-round basis. These include but are not limited to external client, corporate contractual, internal and gameday events. The purpose of the department is to centralize and improve communication, increase operational efficiency and ensure standardization. Additionally, the department supports the purchasing and fulfillment of all promotional items.

Major responsibilities:

  • Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packing lists.

  • Inspecting deliveries to ensure quality control.

  • Receiving and signing for deliveries.

  • Manage and fulfill item requests.

  • Unloading deliveries from trucks.

  • Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.

  • Updating inventory with received items.

  • Communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems.

  • Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience

  • Forklift certification required

  • Proactive, organized and detail-oriented person who can prioritize their workload and follow through with minimal supervision

  • Self-motivated individual with high degree of responsibility including confidentiality, sense of urgency, and accountability

  • Must be able to lift equipment and material weighing 25-50lbs on a regular basis

  • Must complete a successful background check

  • Must be available on weekends/holidays
