The Event Operations Coordinator supports the Director of Event Operations & Procurement as well as Event Operations Management in logistical and operational needs for all organizational events including Baseball and Non-Baseball events. The Event Operations Coordinator will also own several departmental reporting responsibilities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the Event Operations Managers with logistical and operational efforts for all events, including Baseball, Non-Baseball, Partner, and Gameday Hospitality Events

  • Assist with the communication of logistical needs with the Event Logistics Manager, Internal Clients & Consultants, Event Execution Partners and External Clients leading up to event

  • Oversee event operations logistics team to ensure effective performance. Duties include hiring, training, and scheduling

  • Assist with walk-through of event area with Internal Clients & Consultants, Event Execution Partners and External Clients

  • Responsible for working with Event Operations department to produce Event Recap & Event Summaries detailing all relevant event information to be shared at weekly Event Operations Meeting

  • Coordinate Braves Entertainment needs as necessary

  • Support the department’s designated concert responsibilities

  • Support the Battery as needed (i.e. Omni, Roxy, Plaza), specifically related to large scale events that encompass Truist Park and Battery footprint (i.e. holiday events)

  • Assist in maintaining, storing and tracking of operational assets (i.e. staging, props, tables, tents, signage)

  • Assist Director and Management with department responsibilities duties and special projects as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • BA or MS degree in Hospitality, Marketing and/or Event Planning preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience event planning, supporting management, sports experience preferred

  • Proactive, organized and detail-oriented person who can prioritize their workload and follow through with minimal supervision

  • Outgoing personality with track record of effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

  • An understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures, possess an ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and all levels within the company

  • Self-motivated individual with high degree of responsibility including confidentiality, sense of urgency, and accountability

  • Flexibility and enthusiasm in attitude and approach

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

  • Must be a team player, who cares about the department’s work and reputation

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) and experience with Social Tables and AllSeated

  • Ability to work long hours, weekends and occasional holidays
