Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a SharePoint/PowerApps developer who is passionate about technology and wants to deliver real improvements to business users in smart and effective ways. The successful candidate will have a desire to develop their knowledge of Microsoft’s productivity toolsuites, to create a Power Platform that will leverage PowerApps, SharePoint, Viva, Teams, PowerBi technologies, to streamline business processes through automation and integration.

This is an exciting new opportunity working as part of AMF1’s IT team to develop new capabilities and grow the company’s use of modern workplace technologies.

To be effective in this role, stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to flex your communications style relevant to your audience (C-suite to shop floor). A close working relationship will need to be built with internal champions, as well as integration partners and suppliers who exist within the technical, enterprise eco-system. The successful candidate will be fully conversant with Agile project methodologies and working within a DevOps environment.

What you will be doing

  • Working directly with business stakeholders to discuss and translate their requirements in to a solution which delivers the desired outcome

  • Responsible for developing SharePoint/PowerApps solutions and apps

  • Utilize problem-solving skills to understand process pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise

  • Installation and configuration of data gateways

  • Development of Azure logic apps and functions and analytics integration

  • Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365 technologies, including a focus on keeping up to date with developing solutions and future roadmap of Microsoft

  • Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing

  • Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement

  • Collaborate with development teams within the business to get their current productivity solutions into a standardised supportable format and model, which can be transitioned to IT for ongoing maintenance and support

Skills and knowledge required

  • Confident to work individually on projects as well as part of a team to support development, roadmap and governance processes

  • Good Experience in the Microsoft Power Platform – MS PowerApps, Flow, SharePoint

  • Demonstrate an understanding of security concepts including access control and data security.

  • 5+ years of experience as a SharePoint Site Owner and/or Site Collection Administrator

  • 2+ years of business systems analysis and support experience

  • 2+ years of experience with Office 365 development utilizing PowerApps, Flow, Teams and SharePoint Online

  • Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Exchange, Intune, Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem

  • Strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance.

  • Strong verbal and written communication.

  • Experience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps.

  • Experience developing PowerApps model.

  • Experience in data analytics and insights, Power Query - ingestion of various data sources

  • SharePoint experience must include designer and custom workflows, JSOM, CSOM, JavaScript, jQuery, CAML, and branding customization

  • Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Flow.

  • A clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods.

  • Proficient creating PowerShell scripts.
