We have an exciting opportunity to be part of the Additive Manufacturing team as a Junior ADM Technician.

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, proactive and have a ‘can do’ attitude.


To work within the Additive Manufacturing dept, operating the various 3D printing machines, machine maintenance and calibration. You will also post process each technology and programme the parts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Basic SLA Programming

  • Operate 3D Systems machines.

  • Basic SLS, FDM, DLP and DMLS part programming

  • Operate Stratasys machines.

  • Basic machine maintenance.

  • Processing build platforms.

  • Keep work area clean and tidy.

  • Monitor Consumables and notify critical levels.

  • Attend production meetings where necessary.

  • Carry out any tasks as deemed necessary and delegated by superiors

  • To work proactively, responsibly and professionally at all times and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure.

  • To develop thorough skill sets with each technology.

  • To develop thorough skill sets with all post processing.

  • To develop thorough understanding of machine accuracy and calibrations.

  • Be on call as part of a rota for 1 week in 7.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Possess some working knowledge of 3D Systems/Stratasys/Materialise Software and Hardware

  • Possess some understanding of Rapid Manufacturing Technologies

  • Demonstrate some knowledge of Post Processing of 3D Printed Parts

  • Previous experience as a Rapid Manufacturing Technician or similar in a Formula One environment / high level Motorsport environment is advantageous.

  • To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment

  • Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

  • To communicate effectively, positively and respectfully with all colleagues
