Summary: Our team is developing and deploying best-in-class Human Resources technology and services, with the aim of reshaping the employment dynamic for all Arizona Cardinals affiliated organizations. As the Manager, People Operations you will help create, implement, and drive policies, procedures, systems, and other best practices across the organization(s). You will be responsible for partnering across the business to provide comprehensive support in areas such as but not limited to employee relations, HRIS, HR Compliance, policy and procedure development, performance management and learning and development.

This role is perfect for HR professionals who have experience building systems and programs from the ground up. In this role, you will rely heavily on and continue to develop your HR knowledge.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Provide general support and guidance to all employees and manage complex employee relations investigations and disputes, with guidance from Director of People Operations

  • Design, implementation, facilitation, and tracking of learning and development programs

  • Policy & procedure development, implementation, and execution

  • Talent management including the implementation and facilitation of a performance review program

  • Stay abreast of Compliance and Regulatory initiatives while updating best practices, including all required federal and state reporting

  • Leave of absence management including FMLA, worker’s compensation, parental, etc.

  • Creative solutions to implement more structure within the People function of the organization to ensure a more streamlined structure to increase team member performance

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies

  • HR Information System record administration and reporting

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, related field, or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of human resources management experience

  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP/SCP, preferred

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, ability to research and offer ideas for solutions

  • Demonstrate flexibility and creative problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple completing priorities that require strong project management and decision-making capabilities

  • Experience developing a healthy culture within an organization where employees feel valued, engaged, and united toward the common goals of championship-level performance

  • Knowledge of how to operate within a customer-focused company and how to drive that mindset through the HR function with a hands-on approach

  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity to all HR Related matters and information

  • UKG experience preferred

  • Available to work on event days including nights, weekends, and holidays (football games, concerts, etc.)

  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for long periods of time (up to 10 hours in length)

  • Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check
