With the continued investment in our Data Science & Engineering group at Alpine F1 Team, we have a new position to join the team as a Data Engineer.

Data Engineer – The Role

Within this role, you will have the ability to architect, implement and deploy data processes to extract car performance from our F1 dataset. You will be responsible for gathering requirements from business leaders and other members of the IT department and architect solutions within the scope of the tools in place at Alpine F1 Team.

Data Engineer – The Person

We are looking for an individual with Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science) with experience in at least two of the following languages (Python, C#, Java, SQL, or q) with experience in similar roles (e.g. Data Engineering, Software Engineering,…). The candidate should be familiar with some coding best practices with a focus on readability, maintainability and unit testing.

Experience in modern data stacks and tools is a plus, including but not limited to: Kafka, Docker, Microsoft Azure, DevOps pipelines,…
