The Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) is a multi-faceted organization dedicated to inspiring and supporting soccer participation and growth in Houston, TX and beyond. The Club’s brands include men's and women's professional teams - the Houston Dynamo (MLS) and Houston Dash (NWSL), a development academy, Houston Dynamo Dash Charities, as well as Shell Energy Stadium and Houston Sports Park. The Club has a rich history, including MLS Cup titles (2006, 2007) and in-season tournament championships for both the Dynamo (2018 & 2023) and Dash (2020) and is focused on building toward the next championships, inspiring and uniting the city of Houston through the sport of soccer and community outreach, and creating the most inclusive sporting experience and diverse fan base in the city and state.


Purpose of the Job

Houston Dynamo FC 2 is seeking a Team Administrator. This individual will help facilitate the daily administration, operations, and logistics of the MLS NEXT Pro Team within the organization.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Handle day to day Operations and Administration of Houston Dynamo 2.
  • Coordinate the planning of preseason, in season and post season travel including air travel, ground transportation, hotels, meals, etc.
  • Create daily/weekly/monthly schedules.
  • Assist new players & staff with relocation process into Houston including but not limited to family travel, housing, utilities, phone, banking and transportation.
  • Manage immigration matters and oversee P-1 Visa application process for foreign players and staff
  • Responsible for onboarding new players in MLS NEXT Registration Portal and USSF Registration via COMET
  • Coordinate transportation and hotel accommodation for trialist players.
  • Liaison to Visiting Teams
  • Coordinate MLS NEXT Pro Mandatory Player Training meetings and responsible for league compliance.
  • Oversee Team Operations Budget
  • Other duties as directed by the Assistant General Manager and Director Soccer Operations.


QUALIFICATION Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree – required.
  • Experience or background in Professional Sports – required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish – preferred.
