
Travel Project Coordinator

To ensure the successful operational delivery of the ninth edition of this competition, we have set up a Local FIFA Subsidiary (LFS). Its aim is to improve the experience of over 1.1 billion people watching the FIFA Women's World Cup, by delivering innovative solutions across all operational areas. Job responsibilities
The Travel Project Coordinator will form an important part of the Event Travel Team and will work to ensure the successful delivery of the Travel project for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™. This role will work closely with other functional area within the Services department, as well as key staff within the FIFA Travel team, to deliver an integrated travel solution for key tournament stakeholders.
Job duties
Collaborate with all relevant departments and sub-divisions within FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 and FIFA Zurich ensuring that appropriate travel services are delivered to all with relevant FIFA stakeholders, host associations and third-party entities.
Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines and operational plans concerning the travel requirements of all core stakeholders for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™.
Co-ordinate and assist the successful implementation of the Host Country Mobility Plan as it pertains to the immigration requirements of all stakeholders travelling to and from Australia and New Zealand.
Co-ordinate and assist with all visa and immigration support for tournament participants.
Provide timelines and accurate reporting to senior management.
Assist in all travel management areas as needed in NZL.

Qualifications, experience and skills
Minimum of 1 year working within the Travel Industry; ideally with sport travel experience or experience within a travel agency that has dealt with sport and/or major events.
Experience in dealing with both commercial and charter travel.
Experience with VIP/VVIP customers
Knowledge of Air New Zealand Air Fares.
Attention to detail and high level of diplomacy.
Experienced user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project)
Time management and the ability to prioritize a varied workload.
A team player, willing to work to tight deadlines.
Positive attitude, patience, and persistence.
Available to work shifts across 7 days a week during Tournament Time.
