JOB SUMMARY:
Serve as Front Desk reception and general support for office and administrative needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide general office and administrative support to management, department staff and customers.
- Serve as Front Desk Reception during business hours.
- Assist in hiring, scheduling, and on-boarding of part-time/seasonal staff.
- Assist in tracking inventory, purchasing supplies, creating purchase orders.
- Coordinate repair & maintenance/work order requests throughout the complex.
- Assist with accounting, payroll & budgeting as needed
- Coordinate & facilitate Special Events throughout the year - both baseball and non-baseball.
- Review, distribute and track donations for Spring Training and Flying Tigers.
- Assist with coordination of Silent Auction and 50/50 Raffles.
- Handle all rental car reservations and ensure proper billing for Major League staff and players throughout the organization while in Lakeland.
- Responsible for monthly Major League Baseball package logs.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Strong computer, verbal, and writing skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills with high level of experience in Microsoft Office suite.
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation as well as presenting a professional, executive presence is a must.
