
Senior Human Resources Coodinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. HR Coordinator to join the HR team at the Denver Broncos. This is a great opportunity to learn and be exposed to many areas of HR. The Sr. HR Coordinator will coordinate and administer human resources programs, procedures, and policies. They will assist with benefit administration, planning and executing events, coordinating intern and entry level recruiting processes, conducting new employee onboarding and orientations, assisting employees with human-resources related questions and other projects and tasks as assigned. The Sr. HR Coordinator will report to the Director of Human Resources and work closely with the HR team.
Responsibilities include:
Administers benefit programs by:
Monitoring employee enrollments/life event changes/terminations for accuracy and approving transaction within HRIS to ensure EDI file transfer
Reconciling all benefits carrier invoices and requesting payment
Coordinating open enrollment processing and auditing details
Reviewing ACA measurement periods and 401k hour requirements and makes determination on eligibility
Coordinates onboarding and orientation of new employees by:
Entering new hire into HRIS
Sending employee onboarding paperwork for electronic completion
Ensuring all required training is completed
Conducting New Hire Orientation
Facilitates and coordinates the recruiting process for open positions by:
Collaborating with hiring managers and DEI to understand skills and requirements for open positions, communicate process, and coordinate tasks and details
Creating and maintaining job requisitions within HRIS
Completing pre-employment process upon offer of employment
Running background checks
Processes terminations and resignations by:
Conducting exit interviews with Interns and other employees as assigned by supervisor
Distributing required benefit paperwork for life conversion/portability, unemployment, COBRA paperwork, etc. as required
Completing termination process in HRIS
Completing other termination tasks including the filing/purge process
Assists with administrative tasks by:
Ensuring I-9 compliance
Assisting with the submission of government reporting requirements such as ACA compliance, OSHA, EEO-1 filing, and other compliance requirements
Maintaining, filing, and organizing employee records and contracts for Denver Broncos Football Club and Stadium Management Company (as needed)
Coordinates various events (i.e. Staff Parties, Service Awards Event, Thanksgiving Gift Cards, holiday party, etc.) by:
Determining employee eligibility and ordering necessary awards/gifts
Coordinate logistics with vendors, involved departments and personnel, etc.
Providing insights and making recommendations/suggestions for improvement of current programs or implementation of new ideas
Other duties as assigned including but not limited to:
Assisting with pulling of reports and audits
Maintaining accuracy of HRIS and pulling reports as requested
Updating HR information in the employee portal (intranet)
Recommending new approaches/procedures to ensure continual improvement and efficiency of department
Assist with other HR projects as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business administration, communication or related field
3-5 years’ experience assisting with human resources tasks or providing administrative support for a HR team
2+ years’ experience administering benefits, conducting new hire orientations, and/or performing full-cycle recruiting

Knowledge and understanding of basic HR regulations, including FLSA, I-9 compliance, FMLA, and/or record keeping/administration
Experience conducting new hire orientations
Experience coordinating full-cycle recruiting process
Experience administering benefits
HRIS experience
Ceridian specific HRIS experience
Experience with Microsoft office programs including proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated experience with interpreting and analyzing HR data
Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and project management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Professional Demeanor
Ability to work with accuracy under pressure
Ability to maintain HR/Payroll information by keeping information confidential
Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple tasks, responsibilities and deadlines
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 with additional pay for overtime during busy periods. This position will be located at the Training Center in Englewood, CO.
