Job Title: Uniformed Personnel Family Intern

Reports To: Player Family Coordinator & Executive Office

FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Projects and program coordination, including family outreach and club-related programs and events.

Respond in a prompt and professional fashion to communications/calls/inquiries.

Management of special events and family specific programs.

Management of Reds Family Lounge and Reds Childcare Room.

Coordinate and escort various groups for game day experiences, including batting practice and pregame.

Administrative support includes answering phones, data entry, event planning and various office duties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The intern must present themselves in a professional manner both in-person and through written communication with fans of all ages, Ownership, Coaches, Players and their families.

Must have the ability to handle and coordinate large groups of people in a secure and sensitive area.

Attention to details, discretion and organizational skills are a must. Creativity is a bonus.

Must have a flexible work schedule that will allow intern to work weekdays/nights, weekends and holidays.

Microsoft knowledge and use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office.

Work Environment:

Work is traditionally an office work environment; however, employees may have responsibilities where the employees may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.

The work environment is also in the ballpark, suites, hospitality areas, seating bowl, tunnel, storage, and parking areas based on needs.

May be needed to pick up items off site within a 15-mile radius.

The hours will include nights, weekends and holidays.

Please Note:

This is a 20-hour seasonal opportunity, no benefits will be provided.

Adhere to Cincinnati Reds Organization Policies and Procedures.

Act as a role model within and outside the Cincinnati Reds Organization.

Perform duties as workload needs.

Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
