Job Title: Assistant Grounds Supervisor
Department: Ballpark Operations
Reports To: Head Groundskeeper

Job Purpose:
This full-time position exists to assist with the oversight of the playing surfaces and grounds of Great American Ballpark and the Reds Youth Academy. The responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the supervision and maintenance of the fields and grounds, including the direct supervision of the āFieldersā operation. This will also involve the coordination and management of baseball games, events, and other non-baseball activations.

Must be physically capable of working extended hours and in variable weather conditions.
Tools and Equipment Used:
Sprinkler and irrigation systems; lawn mowers, trailers, motor vehicles, drag machines, small engine equipment, power tools, hand tools, computer, cellular telephone, mobile radio.
Physical Demands:
Must have a willingness to work a variable schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays especially during spring, summer, and fall seasons. The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation will be made as required under law to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work is performed primarily in outdoor settings. Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 50lbs. on a regular basis.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee typically works outside in variable weather conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration; The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
