Event Presentation Assistant

Position Overview

This position is responsible for reporting to the Senior Manager of Event Presentation and assisting with day-to-day activities including, but not limited to, game and event days.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist Event Presentation Manager on event planning and execution

  • Act as event lead when manager is not present

    • Understand and follow event details/run of show in order to successfully execute event

    • Quickly and proactively respond to issues or concerns when serving as event point of contact

  • Create and track pre and post event documents as assigned

  • Support exterior arena and concourse activations during Hornets home games

  • Communicate effectively with multiple vendors

  • Work collaboratively across departments

  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Required Skills, Experience and Abilities

  • Must be available outside typical working hours, including weekends

  • Previous event experience highly encouraged

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Attention to detail

  • Multi-tasking is a must
