Match Entertainment Manager

This position supports Tepper Sport and Entertainment with a focus on Charlotte FC’s in-match entertainment experience. It will be responsible for managing all on field logistics. Primary Responsibilities

This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Manage all logistics for all Charlotte FC First Team and Next Pro entertainment match day entertainment:

  • Maintain entertainment budget

    • Oversee match day production schedule

    • Design and manage CLTFC Entertainment field logistics and movement

    • Design and manage CLTFC Entertainment field effects

    • Maintain equipment and throne readiness

    • Staff and manage event day crew for Charlotte FC

    • Manage vendor contracts

    • Other duties as assigned

  • Manage all aspects of the annual review, selection, and execution of the following match day elements:

  • Anthem, Color Guard, Coronation, pyrotechnics

    • Various match day needs including parking, credentials, tickets, food and beverage

    • Build mapping for field movement

    • Respond to inquiries

  • Assist with the execution of other stadium events as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of entertainment and event coordination experience

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience with, and work knowledge of, large-scale event production and logistics

  • Experience with working with large groups

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel software

  • Must be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends and all Charlotte Football Club matches and events held on weekends, nights, and holidays

  • Must pass pre-employment screens

  • Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information with carefully and with sensitivity

  • Must be detail-oriented and must be able to multi-task while managing time successfully
