The Entertainment and Live Events department is excited to welcome a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as the Atlanta Falcons Superfan Engagement Intern. This immersive role offers a unique opportunity to connect with our most passionate fans while building valuable skills in fan engagement, event coordination, and loyalty program management.
As the Superfan Engagement Intern, you will play a vital role in managing the Atlanta Falcons superfan loyalty program while supporting the coordination, planning, and execution of superfan-focused events and materials. We’re seeking a self-motivated and adaptable team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate maintains professionalism in fast-paced environments.
This is a part-time, hourly-paid internship, with up to 30 hours of work per week. Please note that housing, relocation expenses, and benefits are not provided.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Atlanta Falcons rewards program.
- Oversee accounts, sweepstakes, redemptions, prize store inventory, and app equipment supplies.
- Track fan app engagement, analyze trends, and recommend opportunities for increased participation.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the superfan app to enhance user experiences.
- Act as the liaison between the Dirty Birds Nest Program and digital stakeholders.
- Facilitate onboarding and provide customer support for app users.
- Assist with Atlanta Falcons superfan home game, tailgates, Superfan section activities, and other events.
- Provide app support during home games, training sessions, and in-market activations.
- Perform routine administrative tasks, including document preparation, meeting coordination, and presentation development.
- Support setup and execution of superfan events and Entertainment and Live Events department initiatives.
- Work Atlanta United match day activities as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (graduation within the past year preferred)
Experience:
- Prior experience in fan engagement, group management, database input, customer service, or operations required.
- Familiarity with the FanMaker platform is a plus (coding not required).
Availability:
- Must work all Atlanta Falcons home games and Superfan events.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.

Physical Requirements:
- Capable of lifting 35 pounds and staying active for 8+ hours in indoor and outdoor settings.
