The Retail Distribution Center provides merchandise support to all areas of the Atlanta Braves Retail Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily set-up and breakdown of retail stores, distribution of merchandise, and overall store appearance. All Merchandise team members will be required to understand distribution processes and maintain responsibilities of inventory management while acting in accordance with the standards of the Atlanta Braves personal conduct policy.
Job Description
Responsible for accurately counting and checking all inventory received from vendors, off-site warehouse, and Truist Park retail stores
Responsible for warehouse organization and overall cleanliness
Responsible for daily packing and loading procedures of merchandise for retail stores
Assist in restocking store inventories before and after games
Superior product knowledge of all brands while ensuring all merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed
Receive and assist with checking merchandise and cross-checking proper inventory paperwork
Other warehouse duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications
Ideal for individuals interested or working towards a BA in sports management, supply chain, logistics or related field
Understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and an ability to relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds
Required availability on gamedays, weekends, and holidays
Two-years of experience in sports merchandising environment
Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs.
Required to stand and move for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment
Must have reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of basic computer skills needed to operate our Retail Pro inventory system
Ability to multi-task and communicate with well with co-workers
Self-motivated with a high degree of responsibility
Available to work up to 29.5 hours per week
